Established in 2002 by filmmaker Duki Dror, Zygote Films focuses on the production of signature documentaries that explore the complex social, cultural, and political fault lines of the Middle East. We initiate, develop, produce, and market documentary films on cross-cultural encounters, political identities, and social justice that use the language of film innovatively, and explore new ways of seeing, hearing, and understanding.

 

Zygote Films has produced more than 25 award-winning documentaries that have premiered at some of the world’s foremost film festivals, including IDFA, Cinema du Reel and SXSW, and are distributed worldwide.
